To rehydrate your dried chillies, simply place in bowl and cover with hot water. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow to rest for ten minutes or until the chillies become soft and pliable. For a more intense flavour, use a spatula to press the dried chilli in a hot dry skillet until you see a wee wisp of smoke; flip over and repeat on other side and then proceed with directions above for rehydrating.
